Saturday Ticketed Sails

Join us on board for a special program created especially to observe World Environment Day in Pittsburgh.  Tickets may be purchased in the main lobby ticket center of Carnegie Science Center.  Sails run on Saturdays through July 31, with more sails scheduled on Saturdays between September 11 and October 30.  Check out the schedule below!

RiverQuest observes World Environment Day 2010 with a special weekend public sail ticketed through Carnegie Science Center. Come aboard to discover the complex relationship between humans and nature, learn about current ecological issues, and why "Water Matters!"

TICKETS:

Spring 2010 tickets are $6 per person, ages 3 and up. Members of Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh--free this spring!  Available tickets may be purchased at the Carnegie Science Center ticket counter in the main lobby.

LOCATION:

The RiverQuest dock is located near Carnegie Science Center, next to the USS Requin submarine.  The dock is accessed via the pathway along the river, adjacent to the Science Center's main parking lot. 

PARKING:

Customers are able to park in Carnegie Science Center lots, based on availability.  THERE IS A CHARGE TO PARK in Science Center lots. 

REFUND POLICY

Due to the seasonal nature and limited capacity of these trips, tickets are not refundable unless the trip is cancelled by RiverQuest.  Trips proceed rain or shine.  RiverQuest must reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a trip due to severe weather or prohibitive river conditions.  If a trip is cancelled by RiverQuest, customers holding tickets to that trip will receive a full refund. Free tickets are not refundable and have no cash value in the event of cancellation.
