In conjunction with the borough of Kittanning and the Armstrong County Community Foundation, the vessel Discovery will be docked at Kittanning Riverfront Park for the 2008 Fort Armstrong Folk Festival, July 30 - August 3, 2008.

Daily 50-minute trips will depart to take passengers on a short trip downstream on the Allegheny for a narrated tour about the history of the Allegheny in Armstrong County history, a look at the creatures living and thriving in the water, and activities that illustrate "green" science in action.

Tickets for trips are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors age 62+, and $5 for children ages 17 and under.  Group Tours and Private Charters will be available for scheduling based on availability during the festival.
